Saw Dr Ohlson today for what will be my second surgery with him (different issue.) I trust him implicitly. Know beforehand that you may have to wait to see him. Take water and a book. Relax. Breathe. I personally want my surgeon to have the skills of a Master so waiting an hour out of my entire life to see Dr Ohlson is a "no brainer."

He is a rockstar surgeon. Blunt, honest and to the point. If you have something wrong with your foot; you want him operating.

Post traumatic OA had devastated my left ankle. Could not walk a block. Dr. Ohlson replaced it with a prosthetic, 1hr, 45 min surgery. Home that day. Absolutely no complications and my recovery went much faster that expected. I am walking, golfing, hunting and anything else I want to do. He is THE MAN!!

Dr. Olson is by far the best ankle and foot surgeon that I have ever had. He diagnosed an entangled nerve in 10 minutes that I had been suffering with for ten years. After surgery I was pain free and walking without any mobility devices. He also found a severe fracture in the calcaneous that I had suffered with for 5 years and was told by several other doctors that it was a sprained ankle. His P.A. is also the best , Kate Eden Is caring and compassionate. I am so blessed to have found this team and would highly recommend this practice thank you

My daughter had surgery on her ankle yesterday that involved 2 plates and 10 screws. He was very focused and to the point but polite and helpful. The hospital staff was very nice and professional. The facility itself was new and clean. He has called us twice since yesterday to make sure we were doing ok since he has to leave town tomorrow. Some people do not like his bedside manner but I liked him very much and really appreciate his focus and knowledge. I highly recommend him.

Dr. Ohlson came highly recommended. He assessed the situation from information from a podiatrist, and made his recommendation for me to have surgery done on my foot. His staff was pleasant, did what they said they would, and followed up when necessary. I am still healing as I type this, but I think things went very well...like a well-oiled machine. To those who say he was arrogant, I must disagree. I'm not going to the doctor to hear comedy routines, I'm there to get professional opinions. He gave me his, we proceeded and I believe it's going to be a success. His whole staff was great.

Professional, compassionate, smart - Have seen him for ankle and foot care over the last 4 years. I was treated for a severe bunion and the surgery eliminated all the pain and discomfort in that foot! Amazing! Best surgeon, have referred others to him for that procedure and they had same experience as I did!

Dr. Ohlson treated me for a bad ankle injury while I was visiting Charleston. The injury happened a few months before I visited Charleston but he still worked me in the same day I called and continued to help provide me great care once I was back in New York. He called the doctor treating me in New York just to make sure they were providing the same treatment he recommended. I was much more comfortable with him then the doctor I saw in New York so I was so appreciative he was still in charge of my care and so open to communicating with them since I didn't even need surgery. I'm doing great now and owe it all to the visit I had with him while I was there and his continued involvement in my treatment. Have even recommended him to other people that live in New York, worth the trip!!
